Vodafone is the biggest International operator in the mobile communication industry. The group is present in more than 26 countries distributed in 5 continents through more than 57 networks partners all around the world. In Italy Vodafone has more than 39 million of mobile clients and 2,5 on the landline side, thanks to a almost total coverage of the Italian territory.
The reason behind this request was the need for Vodafone to simplify and improve the effectiveness of the procurement relationship managmenet. This was accomplished through the adoption of a solution that allow to the external supplier to be autonomous in the subsequent operations:
The project consisted in the realization of a web based instrument (internet portal) for the management of the communication between the business functions and the external users, for the support to the administrative, accounting functions, for the management of the passive cycle, for the workflow activation related to the invoice monitoring and for the implementation of the archiviation and digital firm for contracts, orderds and invoices.
